gf_to_polynomial

Converts rows of coefficients to Scilab polynomials

Syntax

P = gf_to_polynomial(c)

Arguments

c

Real matrix with one polynomial or element per row, constant term first.

P

Column vector of Scilab polynomials in x, one per row of c.

Description

gf_to_polynomial turns the coefficient rows used throughout the toolbox into Scilab polynomials, for display or for use with Scilab's own polynomial functions. It does not need a field and does not reduce the coefficients modulo p.

Examples

gf_to_polynomial([1 1 0 0 1; 0 1 1 0 0])   // [1 + x + x^4; x + x^2]

F = gf_create_field(2, 4);
gf_to_polynomial(gf_primitive_elements(F))
