> Bug when running SciNotes after scipad Toolbox installed The Scipad version provided on this page is 7.20, which is more than 3.5 years old. I can't reproduce the issue, at least with the latest Scipad version available (8.71). If you can reproduce the issue with a recent Scipad version, please file a bug report in the Scipad tracker, so that we can more easily discuss it: http://sourceforge.net/p/scipad/tickets (you need to be logged in to do this, you can log in from: https://sourceforge.net/p/scipad/tickets/new ) Thanks!

> Why not updating to 8.71 on ATOMS? Because I insist on having full control on my software. Scipad is an independent project hosted at SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/p/scipad Scipad latest versions are here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/scipad/files/
Hello François, The variable MSDOS was removed from Scilab 5.4.0 (or even before). It was declared obsolete for a while before its definitive removal. This bug is fully reproducible with the current Scipad released on ATOMS. Best regards Samuel PS : getos() should be used instead

SEP #39. > This bug is fully reproducible with the current Scipad released on ATOMS. Of course... I have removed any use of MSDOS from Scipad in version 8.40 (15 March 2010). The issue reported here is fixed for exactly 3 years. Users should just move to a Scipad version more recent than the 7.20 that is proposed on the bare atoms repository. Such a version cannot be found on this atoms.scilab.org website, it can be found from the Scipad SourceForge project page: http://sourceforge.net/p/scipad Scipad latest versions are here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/scipad/files/ These Scipad versions support the atoms system of Scilab 5: they are installed, loaded, removed, etc. the same as any other atoms package, however the difference is that these recent versions are not stored in the atoms repository managed by the Scilab team/Digiteo/whatever (I have lost track of what the current situation is). Scipad is an independent project.
