We opened an issue to manage this problem (similar to

Can you add the corrupted .zip file and the result of atomsGetConfig() to this issue?
Can you also tell us what antivirus you use?

Hello,
Running under Win10 Enterprise and Scilab2024.0.0, I have the same problem with a different

checksum, but same "Installation Failed!". However, going back to Scilab-6.1.1,
the default 
package xls-link-0.5.0 installs correctly.
Is it possible to fix under the 2024 version?

Hello,

Under a machine with Win11, xls_link will install under 2023.1 but will not provide a 
message at startup which question if it is installed/loaded or not.

Under a machine with W10, with a fresh 2023.1 install, xls_link will fail to install.

No problem for me on Windows10, using --> atomsInstall("xls_link") or -->
atoms_gui().
