Description
SIP stands for Scilab Image Processing toolbox. SIP intends to do imaging tasks
such as filtering, blurring, edge detection, thresholding, histogram
manipulation, segmentation, mathematical morphology, color image processing,
etc.
These operations are useful for problem solving in real-world applications
ranging from car motion planning to automatic diagnosis of medical images.
SIP is meant to be a complete, useful, and FREE digital image processing toolbox
for Scilab.

Hi,

In current state, this module does not use ATOMS template
(see SCI/contrib/toolbox_skeleton) and it can not be packaged in ATOMS

Please also notice that it does not build with a MS native C/C++ compiler on Windows (32/64

bits)

Allan

Thanks, Alan.

We are targeting Linux and Mac OS X.

If anyone wants to voluteer for making it work with other OS's, that would be great.

As for ATOMS: let this also be volunteer work. We will focus on making the toolbox compile
and install robustly on all Unix.

best,

Hi,

I downloaded the v0.5.6, but it does not use the toolbox skeleton template. This is why
this
module cannot be packaged into ATOMS.

I suggest that you post your module to the File Exchange instead :

http://fileexchange.scilab.org/

Best regards,

Thank you Samuel,

I've deprecated the sip_fftshift function and will remove it completely in the near future.

Hello everybody!

I downloaded the SIP toolbox ( SIP-0.5.6-1-src.tar.gz) but don't know how to integrate
it with the Scilab. Can anybody provide me instructions on what should I do after
downloading the toolbox?

How can I install it?
I want to read TIFF files with Scialb, and which tool box do I need instead of this one?
Thanks a lot!
