xlsread, xls_open and xls_read are excellent and very useful functions for organize large amount of data in a sheet and manage them with Scilab. I think WriteXmlExcel is also excellent, but could you tell me if ReadXmlExcel exists ? Another question: xls and 'Excel xml' are Microsoft's proprietary format, and although Open Office Calc and others can read this kind of workbook, I would like to know is there is any project for reading Open Document Formats, ODF spreadsheet like Open Office Calc '*.ods' Thanks, J.L.Volta
